SUMMARY OF TIME
SUMMARY OF TIME
The features of time in relation to motion is to consider
this position that if motion is either slow or fast then time is measure with
what is either slow or fast which implies that time is not independent of
motion, but it is not motion. On the contrary, time is not considered to be
slow or fast because fast and slow is used for things that can be counted
within a speculation of time which is contrasts to time being a constant
motion. Nevertheless time as a continuum can only be said to be long or short,
time also as a number is said to be much or little. About the non-existence of time it is argued that future,
present and past which constitute time do not exist. And also if time is
considered to be continuous then “now” must last long because it is a
demarcation of time. In affirmation of its existence time is a number of
motions because it creates demarcation between the activities of motion “before
and after”
Time
is the same everywhere because time accompanies motion each time both when it
is in actuality and potentiality. Motion is being measured by time both in its
duration and being, time per se can be corruptive and per accidents be
generative. A thing that is determined by time is prone to destruction but things
that is not determined and exist outside time has its full existence, example
are spiritual beings, but it does not apply to heavenly bodies.
The following ways are
use in calculating motion
i.
The twenty eight orbital movement of the
moon around the earth.
ii.
Time is also calculated in daily
revolution of the earth in its axis.
iii.
Time is calculated in regards to comic
motions.
iv.
It is also calculate in the annual orbital
movement of the earth around the sun.
The following ways above
shows that time is continuous it does not stop.
What exist throughout in time as the same is "NOW",
it is a being abstracted from before and after, which implies that now is of
the same nature with time and time is made known from the now. Now is
indivisible like a unit it takes more than one now to have time. The motion
from one now to another brings about time as it relates to before and after,
now can also be used to point to time in the “present” sense, example He came
now and come here now.
